This up-and-coming band instilled its sound into the hearts of many during its first US tour in 2011, playing over 60 shows and gathering fans from across the country. Their first EP, Crossing Colors, infuses Dirty-Projectoresque harmonies and dreamy pop melodies with a touch of whimsy in every song. My favorite is "Cold Outside," in which lead vocalist Juliana Ronderos exhibits a subtle voice akin to singer/songwriter Feist but with a latin twist. Guitarist Nicolas Losada offers his unique and vibrant guitar riffs which complements Ronderos' sweet voice. What's most impressive is that the Colombia-born duo recorded and self-released Crossing Colors on their own, and booked all of their own tour dates.
